Curated by Ángela Sánchez del Campo, this exhibition at the Conjunto Arqueológico Dólmenes de Antequera brings together works from the collection of the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo (CAAC) that engage in a direct dialogue with abstraction, symbolism, and diverse representations of the sacred.

Titled La Huella Permanente (The Permanent Trace), the exhibition reflects on the enduring significance of the worship of the earth and symbolic forms—elements that have accompanied human civilizations since prehistory. Although these systems of belief have evolved across different historical periods and social contexts, they have never disappeared, leaving a lasting imprint on humanity's material and artistic production.

Set within the UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site, the exhibition features works by Ross Bleckner, Marcela Cernadas, Matt Mullican, Soledad Sevilla, and other artists, highlighting the enduring dialogue between contemporary art, ritual, memory, and the sacred.
