The sixth edition of Una Boccata d’Arte brings 20 artists to 20 villages across Italy, activating forgotten spaces and local histories through site-specific works. From June 28 to September 28, 2025, the project—conceived by Fondazione Elpis—invites artists to live and work in towns under 5,000 inhabitants, creating works that reflect on landscape, tradition, and community through contemporary languages.

Among the interventions, Giuseppe Abate in Altidona (Marche) stages a collective procession inspired by an old photograph of a now-lost sculpture: a rooster that once stood at the town’s entrance. His work revives a shared memory, turning it into a new ritual. Other projects explore environmental themes, rural identity, and vernacular knowledge—offering fresh perspectives on Italy’s lesser-known places and the stories they carry.
