Francesco Jodice | Luoghi comuni | June 5 – November 29 | Monastero di Astino, Bergamo

In the spaces of the Astino Monastery in Bergamo, Fondazione MIA opens Luoghi comuni, an exhibition curated by Corrado Benigni and dedicated to Francesco Jodice.
One of the most innovative figures in the Italian art scene, Jodice uses images to offer a political interpretation of the landscape on a global scale. The exhibition retraces years of research focused on Italy, seen as a symbolic territory of contemporary transformations, memory, identity, and collective change. For this occasion, the artist has also created a site-specific installation derived from the project The Room, engaging with the architecture of Astino through the pages of L'Eco di Bergamo.
This visual journey invites visitors to view the landscape not simply as a physical space, but as a profound political, cultural, and human experience.
